The ability to communicate and share ideas should be a core requirement for all high school graduates. Communication can be written and/or oral. This type of project focuses on planning a presentation – including outlining, converting the outline into a document, and generating the presentation. Concepts covered include appropriate use of text, colors, graphics, sound, and animations on slides as well as linking within and outside the presentation. Ultimately, students will present to an audience. Fluency with word processing software (Level I) and multimedia concepts (Level II) is required.
