Abstract: The formal software development process is a large part of the new curriculum for Computer Studies, yet writing documentation and developing clear design documents are rarely favourite tasks for students. How, then, to meet these expectations in a manner that will motivate students? In this presentation, Gordon and McAsh will discuss the results of running group assignments between students at their schools this past year. Recommendations for how to organize such assignments and suggested software to facilitate the process will also be shared.
