| Abstract: | Each of the seven supplied problems is intended to be solved by pairs of students during a class period. These problems are to be spread out through the course, since they have varying prerequisites from very simple to rather complex. The goal of all the problems is to give students experience in working with at least one other person to solve a "substantial" (at least for them at that point in the course). The "larger" nature of the problems lends itself to team solution. |
